Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know before you treat your diva.

What makes this “only for small dogs”?

Small dogs differ most in the colon — transit time, fiber fermentation and short-chain fatty acid production — exactly where a probiotic works. We calibrate the strain blend, the dose and the chew size to a small dog’s body instead of scaling down a big-dog product. The chew is sized for a tiny mouth, so there’s no breaking it in half.

My dog is the pickiest eater alive. Will she eat it?

Palatability is our obsession — picky small breeds are exactly who we built this for. And we back it with our Devour-It Guarantee: if she won’t eat it, your first pouch is free.

Why doesn’t it need refrigeration? Is that a red flag?

It’s the opposite. Our strains are spore-forming — each one is wrapped in a natural, seed-like shell that survives heat, shelf storage and stomach acid, then activates in the gut. Many refrigerated or powder probiotics are fragile and lose live count before they’re even eaten. Shelf-stable is the mechanism, not a shortcut.

What’s actually in it?

The ProbioSEB CSC3™ three-strain spore blend (B. coagulans, B. subtilis, B. clausii), prebiotic FOS + inulin to feed them, plus pumpkin and marshmallow root to soothe the gut lining. The full ingredient and inactive list is printed on every pouch. Read more on our Ingredients & Science page.

How long until I see results?

Most divas eat it from day one and many owners see firmer stool within a few days. Gut rebalancing takes weeks, not days — coat and comfort changes usually show over the first 1–2 months. We’re honest about timelines on purpose.

Is the subscription a trap?

No. You can cancel, skip or pause in one click, online, anytime — no emails, no phone calls, no surprise charges.

Can it treat my dog’s allergies, anxiety, or illness?

No — and any brand claiming that isn’t being honest. Dog Diva Co is daily gut support. The skin, calm and longevity research is emerging and promising but not settled. For any diagnosed condition, please see your vet.

What size dog is it for?

Toy and small breeds — roughly 4–25 lbs. Think Chihuahua, Yorkie, Maltese, Pomeranian, toy Poodle, Shih Tzu and the like.
